Catalano's Site Redevelopment Moves Forward

Gas station, convenience store not part of plan

Highland Heights City Council has approved a development plan for the former Catalano's site at Brainard and Wilson Mills Roads, The Sun Star Courier reports.

The site has been vacant since the grocery store closed in 2007, and, although a developer was in talks with GetGo for a new gas station at the site, the initiative was rejected at the ballot late last year.

Now developer Lance Osbourne and Highland Heights Council have reached an agreement on a development plan that does not include a gas station or convenience store, The Sun Star Courier adds.
