Holocaust Documentary Clips Shown at Maltz Museum

Mayfield Heights resident says full-length feature will debut this summer

Mayfield Heights resident David Beckman will have his Holocaust documentary featured at Never Again, Never Forget, a Yom Hashoa (Holocaust Remembrance Day) program from 7-9 p.m. April 27 at the in Beachwood.

The sold-out event will include a panel with moderator Dan Moulthrop, Holocaust survivors Ted Hersh and Helen Marks, Alex Lotas and Beckman.

Beckman will present an 8-minute clip of his upcoming documentary, White Rose Black Rose. The film will feature the stories of eight people, including Hersh, Marks and Lotas, who witnessed the slaughter of Jewish residents of Vilnus, Lithuania.

"I'm hoping for a summer release of the whole thing," said Beckman.
