I did include a line in the statement
"and if the BOE allows you to return to your classes "
there is quite a few teachers who attend no rally's have not picketed any houses and have been silent thru all this, enough is enough after monday any teacher that did not cross, will be lumped together with the animals who behaved that poorly at city hall that first sunday -

let us take a pledge
any teacher who still cares about the "children" needs to cross by the end of next Monday,
we as residents will remember them as the ones that put the kids first, and if the BOE allows you to return to your classes we will welcome you back without blamethose that are still on strike on the 30th or later will just be known forever as THEM!. and forever grouped together with the bad behavior and thug-like antics that have been displayed and put money before children

the teachers should have taken the april 15th offer
they had a 1/2 step each year and 10% health care with 200.00 maximum and vision/dental
now they have 1 step each year and 20% health care WITH NO MAXIMUM and no dental/vision
do they even have a clue what no maximum cap on a hospital bill costs
