Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Can't you smell that smell? On Feb. 16, a Fairlawn Chuck E. Cheese security guard pulled Lamar E. Hill outside of the children's arcade after detecting a strong marijuana odor emanating from his clothes. The security guard – who also works as a Summit County sheriff's deputy – found eight bags of marijuana in Hill's possession, along with $360 in cash. Hill, 25, of Akron, later admitted to stuffing a handful of the bags in the trash before exiting Chuck E. Cheese with security, according to a Fairlawn police …

A man was arrested in Cleveland Heights on Feb. 3 after propositioning his masseuse to have sex with him.  He paid her $60 and gave her his identification before the massage was to begin, according to Cleveland Heights police. She then left the massage room. When she came back, Williams was naked and asked her to put a condom on him. She turned down the invite and refused an extra $60 Williams offered her, police said. Fugitive Suspected Of Shooting & Killing Another Man On New Year's Day

Marcellus Smith is the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force’s fugitive of the week.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information that would lead to the capture of fugitive Marcellus Smith Smith is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Cleveland Division of Police. Smith, along with his brother, is suspected of shooting and killing a man with a shotgun around 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Smith is considered to be armed and very dangerous. Smith is a 22-year-old black man standing approximately 6’1” and weighing 175 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Smith is believed to be hiding somewhere in Cleveland. He also has a previous address near the 3100 block of E. 99th Street in Cleveland. If anyone has any information in reference to Marcellus Smith, please contact the Northern Ohio …

Highland Heights Man Arrested in Snowplow Scam

Michael J. Agresta was arrested in Bath Township on Sunday.

Michael J. Agresta, 40, of Highland Heights, was arrested in Bath over the weekend after allegedly conning several area gas stations out of hundreds of dollars. According to Bath Township Police Chief Michael McNeely, Agresta would pull up to gas stations in a snowplow truck, show fake invoices to clerks and demand payment for work he never completed. When Agresta attempted the scam at a True North Shell station on Sunday evening, the attendant grew suspicious and alerted Bath poilce.  Agresta was charged with attempted theft, a second-degree misdemeanor, and was handed over to Solon Police, which issued a warrant for his arrest on Jan. 30. The warrant stemmed from a Jan 27 incident allegedly involving Agresta and a True North Shell …

Driving the Tour de Franzia - On Dec. 21, officers pulled over a car for weaving in its lanes on Graham Road, according to a Stow police report. A 17-year-old from Independence was driving and had a passenger, also 17, from Independence, in the car, the report stated. Officers asked the driver to perform and breath test, and she blew at 0.107. The legal limit is 0.08. Officers also found a box of Franzia wine in the car, the report stated. A 34-year-old Lakewood man was charged with drunken driving after he stopping to ask a Solon police officer for directions. At about 1 a.m. on Dec. 8, a Solon police officer parked at a gas station was approached by a man after a car pulled in behind him. Perry L. Allen, 34, approached the officer to get directions to a nearby business. According to the report, Allen smelled like alcohol and had slurred speech.  He failed the field …

Police Arrest 62-Year-Old for Urinating Alongside Highway: Best of the Blotter

Gotta go — Solon Police arrested a 62-year-old Garfield Heights man on Nov. 17 on U.S. 422, but not for his activity behind the wheel. The sight of Samuel L. Holcombe urinating on the side of the highway led to his drunken-driving arrest. According to the police report, an officer saw Holcombe get out of his truck and stagger to the side of the road to relieve himself. He was soon arrested and taken to Solon Jail.
