Here are some of the weirdest police reports and incidents from departments across the region.

Here are this week's most bizarre police calls, reports and charges. All information was provided by police reports from departments in Patch communities. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. I hope that isn't a new prize- On Jan. 21, the manager of Chuck E. Cheese in Fairlawn called police to report someone parked outside the exit smoking weed in the car. After the officer arrived, he walked up to the car and stated he could smell marijuana smoke coming out. The officer asked the woman inside, 30, of Akron, if she was smoking weed and she turned over a half-burnt marijuana cigar. Then she gave officers a false name and age. When police finally figured out who she was, the officer charged her with drug…

The Cleveland RTA announced today that they pressed charges against the woman accused of choking and spitting on a bus driver before he responded with a violent uppercut. See all posts on this topic: RTA Uppercut Topic Page Shidea Lane, 25, reportedly boarded an RTA #5 bus Sept. 18 without paying. A dispute began —which was recorded on a cell phone and later became a viral video — that ended with the notorious uppercut delivered by the angry bus driver. Cleveland RTA Bus Driver Uppercuts Female Passenger: Names, More Info Released

The Cleveland RTA released the names of the two people involved in the incident that became a viral video of a driver uppercutting a woman on a bus in Beachwood.

The Cleveland RTA has released the name of the bus driver who uppercut a woman on a bus in Beachwood in a video that became viral this week. Artis Hughes, a 22-year-veteran of the Cleveland RTA, has been identified as the bus driver in the video. He was suspended Oct. 11 after RTA personnel saw the video online. Hughes called Transit Police and filed a report that he had been assaulted, but Lane did not file a report. Neither party pressed charges against the other. Only "cowards" in the context that you use it, hit men thinking that they will not get introuble. Im sure that girl didnt really want to fight that man.
