Fostering is a win-win option. “I’m not ready” is heard almost as often as “You’re not ready.” It does not matter if you are talking to yourself, or convincing your children; sometimes making a permanent commitment to an animal is just too much. This can be an emotionally difficult choice, especially if your pet has just passed on. Nick Burnsworth of Animal Kingdom Pet Cemetery, located in Highland Heights, said that not everyone is ready to take a leap and get a new pet right away. “It really depends on the person, but there is no question laying your pet to rest leaves an empty spot.
