How Much Money Does Mayfield City Schools Receive Each Year?

According to the Ohio Department of Education’s website, Mayfield City Schools receives about $63.5 million in revenue each year. Most of it -- about $48 million -- comes from local sources. About $12.5 million comes from the state and the district also receives just shy of $3 million in federal revenue. Patch has compiled a database that allows people to check out the revenue numbers for school districts across the state. The information in the searchable database above can be found on the Ohio Department of Education’s website. The revenue amounts listed are for the 2010-2011 school year, the most recent numbers available. Thinking of putting your house on the market soon?  See how much properties in your neighborhood are selling for by using our searchable database above. Close to 4,000 properties were sold or otherwise transferred during that time across all of Cuyahoga County.  The information in the database is for the month of December 2012 and was provided by the Cuyahoga County Fiscal office. You can search by city, zip code or street address. For the address, just type in the name of the street—you don’t need to include the suffix, direction or street number.

Elections 2012: An Update on Contributions in Mayfield-Hillcrest

Mayfield-Hillcrest area residents made 255 presidential campaign contributions by late summer. Like the previous update, Gates Mills residents provided most of the donations during this campaign season. Ninety-eight of the 152 contributions listed for that city went to Mitt Romeny's campaign. Mayfield Heights residents made 47 contributions to President Barack Obama's campaign compared to 13 for Romney. In Highland Heights, Mark Lilien, an executive at Things Remembered, boosted Obama's campaign by $5,000 with two donations. Contractor Nacy A. Panzica did the same for Romney's fund. Election 2012: How Much Have Your Neighbors Given to Romney and Obama?

Nearly 200 Mayfield-Hillcrest area residents contributed to presidential candidates in this election cycle, with the majority coming from Gates Mills Village. Public records show that most of the 110 Gates Mills contributions went to the Romney campaign. Entrepreneur Michael R. Shaughnessy donated the largest amount — two contributions totaling $9,000. In Mayfield Heights, 37 of 45 contributions went to President Barack Obama's campaign. Still, the largest in that city went to Romney — $2,500 by both Moreland Management Co. investor Richard A.
