According to WKYC, the man could face a $1,000 fine and 30 days in jail.
After the tragic school shooting in Newtown, CT, last week, a Medina man updated his Facebook status in favor of the gunman, according to WKYC. Joseph Resovsky's status read, "I'm so happy somebody shot up all those little (expletive). Viva la School Shootings!!!!" WKYC reported. Resovsky, 20, said he was trying to make a point, but that point could get him a $1,000 fine and 30 days in jail. Read more of WKYC's story here. In another incident, 33-year-old Virginia man Christopher Johnson wrote "High Powered Rifle" on a wood plank and walked into Sandy Hook Elementary in Shenandoah County, VA, News Channel 5 reports. Police in Newtown, Conn. were called to an elementary school at about 9:30 a.m. after a gunman allegedly opened fire at the school. The president spoke to the nation Friday afternoon.
Connecticut police said Friday afternoon that 26 people, including 20 children, were killed at an elementary school after a gunman opened fire. The Scene Newtown Police were called to the school at about 9:30 a.m. after receiving a 911 call. They alerted Connecticut State Police and authorities began an active shooter investigation once they arrived at the school, according to Connecticut State Police spokesman Lt. Paul Vance. Authorities said the gunman was found dead inside the school. He was allegedly armed with four guns and a high-powered assault rifle. Chardon High School shooting spurs police presence, notes of reassurance to area parents
A student is dead and four others injured after a student opened fire at Chardon High School in Geauga County this morning. School districts in the area responded quickly, sending notes to parents and students reassuring them of their own safety practices in the event of a dangerous situation.
