Ballot Vote – The Highland Heights City Council unanimously voted Tuesday to put the rezoning of property for the Highland Medical Center on the November ballot. New Bike Rules – Gates Mills chose to suspend a village ordinance to fine bicycle riders $100 for riding across the Walking Bridge now that the Old Mill Rd. Bridge has been reopened at a village council meeting on Tuesday. New Restaurant – Potbelly Sandwich Shop recently opened up on SOM Center Rd. against some tough competition on the block. Road Closing – Ohio Department of Transportation closed Mayfield Rd. eastbound Monday between SOM Center Rd. and County Line Rd. in the Village of Gates Mills for approximately 40 days.
