Missing Mayfield Heights Man's Body Identified

Coroner's office confirms Gianfagna was man in car

The Lorain County Coroner’s office confirmed today that the body found inside a missing man’s car in Sheffield Village is that of Mayfield Heights resident Marco Gianfagna. Neither the coroner’s office nor Sheffield Police Chief Larry Bliss would comment on whether the death is being investigated as suspicious and said their offices are still investigating. The coroner’s office said it would take weeks to determine the cause of death. Sheffield Village Police found Gianfagna’s body Wednesday morning in the parking lot of the Evergreen Pain Management and Rehabilitation Center at 5445 Detroit Rd., Bliss said. UPDATE: Missing Mayfield Heights Man's Car Found

Sheffield Village police have located Gianfagna's car with a dead body inside

Sheffield Village police have found the car of a missing Mayfield Heights resident today with a dead body inside. Sheffield Village Police Chief Larry Bliss could not confirm if the body was that of Marco Gianfagna, and he did not have any further knowledge of the Mayfield Heights resident's possible whereabouts. Bliss said the Lorain County Coroner’s office will make the identification on the body. Sheffield Village police found Gianfagna’s four-door Volkswagen at 11:39 a.m. today in the parking lot of the Evergreen Pain Management and Rehabilitation Center at 5445 Detroit Rd., Bliss said. Police Searching for Missing Mayfield Heights Man

Authorities looking for Gianfagna

The Mayfield Heights Police Department confirmed Monday they are looking into the disappearance of resident Marco Gianfagna. Police have not provided further details at this time and attempts to reach members of the family for further comment have been unsuccessful.
