Hillcrest Hospital has received an award from a national organization for its treatment of stroke patients. The American Heart Association recently gave Hillcrest its "Get With The Guidelines - Stroke Silver Plus Quality Achievement" for its compliance with national guidelines in providing high-quality care and treatment to those who suffer strokes. "Get With The Guidelines - Stroke helps Hillcrest Hospital’s staff develop and implement acute and secondary prevention strategies to improve patient care and outcomes," according to a hospital statement.
