Mayfield Heights Looking To Fill Vacancy On City Council
The vacancy on Council was created when Council President Anthony DiCicco became city mayor after the previous mayor, Gregory Costabile, resigned from the position.
The Mayfield Heights City Council is accepting applications for consideration in filling a vacancy for a Council member. Qualifications for said council seat, as set forth in the Charter of the City of Mayfield Heights are as follows: Applications should include a letter of intent as well as a current resume or curriculum vitae, a brief background of the applicant (including education and employment history,) their reasons for wanting to serve as a Council member, and any civic or community involvement with the city of Mayfield Heights. This appointment to fill the vacancy shall be made before March 18 and the successful applicant will hold office until December 31, 2013.
