Gilmour Academy falls to Beachwood
Lancers rally falls short against Bison.
Gilmour Academy got behind early against Beachwood on Friday night and never really could catch up. Despite junior guard David Linane’s 26 points, the Lancers couldn’t overcome a huge early hole and fell to the Bison, 87-79, at home. Sophomores AJ Wright and Colin Zucker scored 10 points each for Gilmour. John Davis III led the Bison with 27 points and Ellis Cohen had 24. "I think we came out a little flat tonight, and Beachwood came out shooting well. … Obviously they have a tremendous point guard in the Davis kid. We had a hard time defending him," Pfundstein said.
