Hawken Upper School is an independent, coeducational college preparatory school based in Gates Mills. The upper school serves students in grades 9 through 12 and Hawken also offers a lower and middle school based in Lyndhurst, which offers programs for pre-school through eighth grades. The upper school provides students with an open, college-like environment allowing them to prepare for the next level of education.
