Heat Cancels Civil War Re-Enactment
Polo Field event won't happen for the whole weekend
The Civil War 150th Anniversary event has been canceled for this entire weekend at the Hunt Club Polo Field because of the extreme heat the Northeast Ohio area has been experiencing recently, according to officials.
The free-two day event was supposed to begin Friday and continue through Saturday with cannon firing and battlefield re-enactments.
Officials are not aware yet of a rescheduled date.
