Critter Corner: "Take Me Out to the Lake County Captains Ballgame"

Fun and games leave dogs begging for more.

The Lake County Captains ballgame drew a diverse crowd - it was Dog Night at the stadium on Tuesday. There were dogs of all shapes and sizes. Some enjoyed making new friends of people and other pups, while some stayed aloof and enjoyed the game from the comfort of a lap.

Camp Bow Wow, located in Highland Heights, asked people to "sniff us out" and offered advice on doggy day care and vacations. It was a great chance for people and their pups to meet the crew before coming in for their first free visit.

If Dog Night sounds like fun, be sure to mark Aug. 7 and 24 on your calendar, when the Captains will play in front of their 2- and 4-foot fans again. Unlike people tickets, dog tickets must be purchased in advance and have special requirements. Go the the Captains site for more information.
