Battle of the Cupcakes at Hillcrest Hospital Today

In probably the sweetest battle you’ll ever see – or perhaps the tastiest  – will host the from 9:30-11:30 a.m. today in the hospital’s atrium to benefit the American Heart Association.

The event, which is free and open to the public, has more than 40 entries in several competitive categories going for the title “Best Cupcake” in Northeast Ohio. The categories include Heart-Healthy, Specialty, Youth (ages 8-16), Anything Goes and Professional.

Prizes will be awarded to the best cupcake in each category and a $50 cash prize will be awarded to the overall "Best in Show" cupcake. 

The winners will be announced at about 11:30 a.m. Cupcakes can be purchased throughout the competition.

Celebrity judges scheduled to appear include, former Cleveland Browns coach and comedian Mike Polk.
