Golfers Drive Competition During National Senior Games In Highland Heights

93 golfers registered to compete at Stone Water Golf Club

Mike Goff has been an athlete in four of the National Senior Games since 2007.

The 61-year-old traveled from his home in Missouri to participate in the golf segment of games at Stone Water Golf Club in Highland Heights.

“It gives [seniors] a venue where we can compete with people in our own age group,” Goff said after he finished up the ninth hole of the course.

The games are hosted in Cleveland this year and started July 19 and end Aug. 1. Sports include swimming, basketball, pickleball, archery and softball.
