Gilmour High Golfer Recognized as National Athlete of the Year

A Gilmour Academy golfer has been named a national athlete of the year.

Andrew Bieber, the 2013 team captain, was named the National High School Coaches Association's (NHSCA) National High School Senior Boys Golf Athlete of the Year.

In his three years at Gilmour, the graduate was named to the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) All-Ohio First-Team and the Northeast Ohio Golf Coaches Association First-Team. He’s been a Division III State Champion and has medaled at several regional and district golf tournaments.

Bieber will attend Duke University this fall.
