Snapshot: Excellent With Distinction
Mayfield school district's four mayors presented the award last Wednesday
At last Wednesday's Mayfield school board meeting, mayors from Gates Mills, Mayfield Village, Highland Heights and Mayfield Heights presented a banner from the Ohio Department of Education. The banner congratulated the district for earning the Excellent with Distinction rating on the state report card for three years in a row.
Here are the mayors' comments:
Mayfield Village Mayor Bruce G. Rinker: "This is the best way our tax dollars go to work. Congratulations."

Highland Heights Mayor Scott Coleman: "I couldn't be more proud of my alma mater."
Gates Mills Mayor Connie White: "It's wonderful what the school has been able to do. There's be an awful lot of good work done here."
