Smooth First Day of School in Mayfield

Construction continues at middle, high schools

"I think that everyone who had a middle school child decided to drive that child to school today," Price said.

A $6 million renovation project adding classrooms and computer labs at the middle school is expected to be completed in November. Meanwhile, Price said staff have alternative spaces for any sections that are not open yet.
