Millridge Students Raise Money for Japan

Paper hearts being sold for $2 each

Millridge Elementary School/Millridge Center for Hearing Impaired students are raising money to help those affected by the disasters in Japan.

Through Thursday, Student Council members will be asking people to Lend a Hand – Buy a Heart. They will be selling paper hearts for $2 each before school and during lunch. Students can write their names on the hearts, which will be displayed in the gym.

Donations of $10 can be sent with a signed note, or a check made out to American Red Cross, and will be noted on jumbo hearts in the gym.
