Millridge Students Host Famous Ohioans Parade

From presidents to athletes, fourth-graders presented facts and dressed as a slew of famous Ohioans

Did you know that President William Howard Taft once got stuck in a bathtub? Or that Annie Oakley was capable of shooting an apple from a dog's head?

These are some of the fun facts fourth-graders at Millridge Elementary School presented to a gym full of parents and staff members Wednesday as part of Famous Ohioans Parade.

Four classes comprised of 100 students spent a quarter of the school year learning about famous people who were either born in Ohio or spent time living in the Buckeye State. They found costumes and props in order to educate and humor their parents and supporters during Wednesday's event.
