"Special Report" edition of district newsletter explains new Ohio Department of Education ratings, curriculum standards
Mayfield City Schools released a special report on new guidelines set forth by the Ohio Department of Education in its latest district newsletter.
Superintendent Keith Kelly writes in the newsletter:
"Many residents may not be aware that both the way the Ohio Report Card looks and the content our children are expected to master are changing. These changes are in addition to reforms on how we evaluate our teachers, promote students in the elementary grades (Third Grade Reading Guarantee) and how we test our kids."
