Mayfield Schools Honors Students for Work With CADD Program

Served as part of team that recruited sophomores.

Students Connor Powelson and Stasha Sharpe were honored by the the Mayfield school board for their efforts in recruiting students for the computer-aided design and drafting program at Excel TECC.

Superintendent Phillip Price noted that they served on a four-person team that made the recruitment presentation for sophomores in the absence of instructor Craig Schmidt, who was on medical leave.

"We are on pace for a record number of applicants by sophomores for the program," Price said.
