Mayfield Middle School Eighth-Grader is District's Student of the Month

Timothy Carlile was honored at Wednesday's school board meeting at the Student of the Month.

An eighth-grader at , Carlile was presented with a resolution, which was read by Superintendent Phillip Price.

"His involvement in school activities is outstanding and that he is able to maintain his high level of academic performance is commendable," Price said.

In addition to participating in football and wrestling, Carlile is active in student council, "where he develops and implements new ideas," Price said.

Price added that Carlile is a role model to his peers, gets along with everyone and has a terrific attitude.
