Hawken School Debators Place 4th at National Tournament

Tim Perevozchikov and Ron Lubarsky earn scholarships for big win

A Hawken School debate duo took fourth in the nation at the National Forensics League Tournament this month.

Tim Perevozchikov and Ron Lubarsky placed out of 270 teams at the Birmingham, Alabama tournament and earned a $5,000 scholarship for their work.

The duo had to place at their division tournament to attend the national competition, which hosted over 3,000 students from 967 high schools.
