Football games, school board meeting, dot this week's local calendar
1. Football: Week 2: Mayfield at Willoughby South, 7 p.m., Friday; Hawken at Lutheran West, 7 p.m., Friday; Tuscarawas Central Catholic at Gilmour Academy, 1:30 p.m.
2. School Board Meeting, Wednesday, 7:30 p.m.: The Mayfield City Schools' board has its first meeting since school reopened last week.
3. Highland Heights Computer Roundup, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.: This is the final week of this program. The Service Department is looking for these items: computers, cell phones, cables, keyboards, monitors, printers and printer cartridges, CPU’s, mice, modems, terminals and software and accessories.

4. American Red Cross Blood Drive, Tuesday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.: This blood drive will be held at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven with a gift bag and complimentary food.
5. Rabies Vaccinations, Tuesday and Wednesday: The Ohio Department of Health will be distributing oral rabies vaccination baits intended for wildlife in Mayfield, Mayfield Heights and Highland Heights on Tuesday and Gates Mills on Wednesday. For more information, click here.
