Watch the Last Presidential Debate with Patch and Nighttown!

We're joining together again to bring you another great evening.

We had so much fun with the first Presidential Debate Watch Party at Nighttown, we couldn't resist doing it again.

Patch and Nighttown are partnering up to host one more event for the last presidential debate on Monday, Oct. 22.

Come and root for your candidate! We'll have large-screen televisions and will be passing out Patch freebies, live-tweeting, Facebooking, and, of course, posting stories and photos on Cleveland Heights Patch, Shaker Heights Patch and Beachwood Patch.

Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. The debate gets under way at 9 p.m.

More than 250 people attended the first party, so it's sure to be a fun evening.

Cover charge is a $5 donation to the Friends of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library. Everyone who pays $5 to get in will be entered into a drawing for a $500 Nighttown gift certificate.

Also, Nighttown will make a donation to WCPN-FM’s Dee Perry “Around Noon” program equivalent to the cover charge donation made to the Friends of CH-UH Library.

Reservations are required. To make a reservation, call Nighttown at 216-795-0550.

the republicans are protecting the drug dealers and doctors and drug companies . This is why the reps dont want a prescription that will work. 1 rep passed the database that is so full of loopholes that the drug dealers love it. Please spread the word that the republicans dont care about our kids safety , just their wallets . if they did care we would have a tax payer funded database that would work

The people of the state of Ohio need to know that the republicans are a BIG part of the prescription drug abuse problem we have . Florida is one of the worst states for prescription drug abuse . The republicans in Florida fought for over 7 years against the database . First they claimed privacy issues and when that did not fly, they went on to budget issues . Under severe pressure they passed a watered down version of a database . The doctors are not required to report the controlled substance scripts they write . The drug dealers love this . They can go to 10 doctors a day and get as many scripts as they want . They pay cash and there is no paper trail . This country needs a national prescription drug database , not just state by by state . Just like we have a national drivers license database . In Florida the republicans would only pass the watered down database if the tax payers did not have to pay for it . They figure the cost to be 1 million a year to keep the database on line , so do the math . I dont believe anyone other than the republicans would disagree to pay for it. The money was never the issue anyway . The issue is that the republicans protect the profits the drug companies and doctors make . For this one reason alone I would never vote for a republican . Please vote for Obama in 2012 .

Bruce, thanks for your reassurance - your comments are definitely different than the crowd dynamic as reported by Patch after the first debate! We moved to Cleveland Heights because we love the diversity, plus the extraordinary friendliness and concern that our Forest Hill neighbors exhibit every day - no matter whose yard sign you're displaying! It's great to hear that Nighttown will offer a comfortable venue for debate-watching no matter what your affiliation. Hope to see you there!
