Anthony Longano served Mayfield Heights for more than 39 years

Mayfield Heights City Council passed a resolution Monday honoring Lt. Anthony Longano on his retirement from the fire department.

"It's a testament that all of the guy are here on your behalf," Council President Michael Ballistrea said about the nine fire personnel who attended the meeting to watch Longano be honored.

"We congratulate and thank you so much for all that you've done to make our city better," Mayor Gregory Costabile said.
