Rep. Joyce to Host Military Academy Day
Students interested in the U.S. Air Force, Military, Naval and Merchant Marine academies are welcome to attend.
U.S. Rep. David Joyce is hosting a Military Academy Day event event in the area for interested students and parents.
Military Academy Day begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday Sept. 21 at Auburn Career Center's Technology Learning Center Building, 8221 Auburn Road in Concord Township. Representatives from the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Military Academy (West Point), U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Naval Academy and U.S. Coast Guard Academy will make presentations and field questions.
"The program is open to students of all ages and their families. Anyone who has an interest in learning more about the service academies and the nomination process is welcome to attend," according to a statement from Joyce's office.
Joyce, a Republican, represents Ohio's 14th Congressional District, which includes the Mayfield-Hillcrest area.
