Editor's note: This article was updated at 3 p.m.

There are guaranteed to be at least a couple new faces on Mayfield Heights City Council following November's election.

Five candidates are trying to win four seats on council, according to filings with the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections. Two of the seats are open now that Diane Snider and Donna Finney are both running for mayor.

Votes will need to select four of these five candidates:

  • Incumbent Joe Mercurio
  • Incumbent Robert J. DeJohn
  • Donald J. Manno
  • Michael J. Ballistrea
  • Susan A. Sabetta
Filings also show that current councilman Nino Monaco is unopposed for a seat with an unexpired term that ends Dec. 31, 2015.
