Mayfield Heights Recreation Has In-Person Registration Saturday

Registration held for day camp, pool passes and swimming lessons

Mayfield Heights will have in-person resident registration for day camp, pool passes and swimming lessons from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the DeJohn Community Center, 6306 Marsol Road.

Starting April 11, registrations can be done walk-in, by mail or by fax from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays at the Parks & Recreation Department, 6154 Mayfield Road. The phone number is 440-442-2626, Ext. 267 and the fax number is 440-760-2274.

Registration forms are available online at www.mayfieldheights.org. With registration for these programs, there is an administrative fee of $15 for cash or check and $5 for credit card transactions.

Early bird costs are $100 for a family pool pass and $45 for an individual pass, through June 4. Costs for nonresidents are $150 for a family and $70 for an individual. Starting June 11, passes can be purchased at the pool at regular season prices, which for residents are $125 for a family and $60 for an individual.

Swimming lessons cost $40 for the first child, $30 for the second child and $20 for each additional child. Nonresident costs are $55 for the first child, $45 for the second child and $35 for each additional child. There will be three morning class sessions: June 13 to July 1, June 5 to July 22 and July 25 to Aug. 3. There will also be evening lessons from June 15 to Aug. 3.

Day camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays at Mayfield Heights City Park, with sessions from June 13 to July 1, July 5-22 and July 25 to Aug. 12. Costs vary based on number of weeks and if they go on field trips. Resident cost for one three-week session is $250 with trips and $200 without.
