Mayfield Heights Fire Department Has Record Year
Workers handled the most calls in the department's history.
The Mayfield Heights Fire Department ended 2012 with 3,399 calls. That's the most calls in the department's history and a 3.5 percent increase over 2011, the city reported on its Facebook page.
The city's Building Department issued 2,530 permits or licenses in 2012.
The city said on its Facebook post that more statistics will be disclosed in the winter edition of the City Focus newsletter. The publication is due to be mailed the first part of February, the city said.
