Mayfield Heights Council Continues Interviews Today

Applicants seeking vacant council position

City Council will have a special meeting at 6 p.m. today at City Hall, 6154 Mayfield Road, to continue interviews with eight applicants for the council vacancy created by the death of David Sasak.

The appointment will be for the rest of 2011 and the final two years of the term will be decided in the November general election.

The eight people who applied for the position are Nino Monaco, Susan A. Sabetta, Jerry Rothenberg, Robert J. DeJohn, Benjamin M. Stocum, Gayle M. Teresi, Gene Trunzo and Martin J. Kelbel.

Four of the applicants were interviewed on July 20 and the remaining four are scheduled for today.
