Hillcrest 100 Makes Donation to SPAN Bomb Squad

Eric C. Bergsman, president of Hillcrest 100, presented a check for $2,500 for the Suburban Police Anti Crime Network bomb squad on Monday at the Mayfield Heights City Council meeting.

Hillcrest 100 is a nonprofit organization that supports first responders in Gates Mills, Highland Heights, Lyndhurst, Mayfield Heights, Mayfield Village and Richmond Heights.

"The Hillcrest 100 is proud to be a partner to the first responders," said Bergsman. He said the money can be used for training, equipment or whatever else the bomb squad deems necessary.

The money was raised last month at a hosted by the independent living/assisting care facility.
