Highland Heights Has Shred Day on Saturday

Bring unwanted papers to the Service Department

residents can bring old bills, bank statements and other paperwork to Shred Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Service Department, 5827 Highland Rd.

Staples, binder clips and paper clips do not need to be removed. However, papers should not be in plastic bags, which clog the machine. Papers should be in boxes or paper bags and residents can keep the empty boxes if they want them.

On the last shred day, which was April 2, residents set a new record by bringing more than 10,000 pounds of paper, Council President Scott Mills said.
