Political Affiliation: Republican

Office sought: Council at large, city of Highland Heights

Previous political office sought or held: Council at large, city of Highland Heights (2009)

Statement: Since coming up just short in November of 2009, I have worked hard to become even more active in the community than I had been prior to the election in order to show the residents of Highland Heights how committed I am to serving both them and the city.

I have had the honor to be the chairman of the city of Highland Heights Community Day for the past two years, and was appointed to the Park and Recreation Commission this past January. In addition, I regularly attend council meetings to make sure I am on top of the current issues facing our community.

I feel that I am the best candidate because of my broad local government background. As a result of my extensive working in and for local governments, I am better able to see and understand how the services provided by those governments directly and indirectly contribute to the quality of life for its residents.

Further, I am a strong leader who works well with others and is not afraid to stand up for what I think is right. I will approach all issues brought before council with an open mind and will do what I think is best for the community as a whole. As an elected representative of the community, I would do my best to always respond to a residents concern in a timely and professional manner.

Additionally, I would strive to work with local businesses and business leaders to make Highland Heights a community in which businesses could thrive, which in turn create good, high-paying jobs. I feel communication both with residents and the business community is one of the most important priorities of an elected official.

Finally, I intend to work with all city departments and department heads to ensure that the services our city provides are second to none. This would include working with council and the various departments to properly budget for our cities infrastructure, and continuously seek new amenities for our city park.

In closing, if I am elected I will do the absolute best job that I can for the city of which I am proud to be a part.
