Philips Healthcare Global Advanced Imaging Innovation Center gets funding from Ohio Third Frontier Commission

The Philips health care business in Highland Heights was part of a group that received a $2.5 million grant from the Ohio Third Frontier Commission.

The Philips Healthcare Global Advanced Imaging Innovation Center, a collaboration formed by Philips, Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Case Medical Center was given the grant to study PET-MRI's usefulness in detecting breast cancer and whether a CT scan can gauge a patient's health after a heart attack.
