Council President Diane Snider to Run for Mayfield Heights Mayor

She will run against Mayor Anthony DiCicco and council President Pro Tem Donna Finney.

Mayfield Heights City Council President Diane Snider will make a bid for mayor in the November election.

"I have a passion for our community and people," Snider told the Sun News. "I think after 12 years on council, this is another life goal I’d like to pursue. I’ve made Mayfield Heights my home for so many years and want to keep it a great place to live."

Snider is in the final year of her third term on council. She will face current Mayor Anthony DiCicco and council President Pro Tem Donna Finney, who announced her candidacy in June.

Snider, 48, has yet to file for the election with the county board. She was named city council president in March when Robert DeJohn filled the empty council seat.
