1. will have an Adult Afternoon Out of summer fun from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ross DeJohn Community Center, 6306 Marsol Road. Wally Maxima will entertain and there will be cold fried chicken, coleslaw, baked beans, corn on the cob and dessert. The event is open to adults of all ages and cost is $10. 2. Carmelina & the Masquerade will perform at a free Concert at the Park at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Oakville Park in Mayfield Heights. Bring lawn chairs or blankets – seating is not provided. There will be free pizza while it lasts.
3. The Write Time, Write Now writers' group will meet at 7 p.m. today at the Cuyahoga County Public Library , 6080 Wilson Mills Road. All interested writers are invited to attend.
4. The Wednesday Book Discussion group will talk about Complications: A Surgeon's Notes on an Imperfect Science at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cuyahoga County Public Library , 1491 Chagrin River Road.
5. The Swingtime Big Band will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Mayfield Village gazebo, located on the corner of SOM Center and Wilson Mills roads.
