5 Things You Need to Know This Week

1. The Memorial Day program will start at 10 a.m. at the Veterans Peace Memorial at the east end of the city hall complex at 5827 Highland Road.

2. Memorial Day services will be at 10 a.m. at the Roll of Honor Memorial in the eastern parking lot at city hall, 6154 Mayfield Road.

3. Artifacts from the Civil War will be displayed from 1-5 p.m. Saturday at the Mayfield Township Historical Society and Museum, 606 SOM Center Road.

4. Early bird pool passes will be sold from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Dragga Pool in . Prices are $100 for a family pass and $45 for individuals (nonresident costs are $150 and $70, respectively). Starting June 11, passes will be sold at the pool, but will cost $25 more for families and $15 more for individuals.

5. The , Gates Mills and all other Cuyahoga County Public Library branches will be closed today for the Memorial Day holiday. Regular library hours will resume on Tuesday. City and village halls are also closed today.
