Spitting Sonic Worker & Public Urination: Mayfield Heights Police Blotter

The following information was supplied by the Mayfield Heights Police Department.

Incidents reported July 22-24:

Spitting at Sonic:
 A Mentor woman who works at Sonic on Mayfield Road told Mayfield Heights Police on July 22 that another employee spit on her the previous day.She came into the police station three days later to request that her former coworker be told that he cannot return to the restaurant.
Mysterious mayhem: A Mayfield Heights pool employee notified police on July 23 that several children were in the skate park at 7:19 p.m., even though it was closed.
Additionally, the woman said she saw all the cement garbage bins were knocked over near the pool. An officer helped get them upright. The children in the skate park left before the officer reported, and it is unclear if they knocked over the garbage.
Public relief: Police received two calls in two days regarding people who were spotted urinating near Mayfield Heights businesses.
First, a caller said a man was relieving himself on the side of Academy Answering Service, 1446 SOM Center Road, around 7:51 p.m. on July 23. That man only received a warning because the responding officer did not catch him in the act.
The following day, around 3:11 p.m., a man riding a bicycle saw another man urinating in the parking lot of Forest Vacuum on Mayfield Road.
