Police Respond to Multi-Car Crashes: Gates Mills Blotter
The following information was supplied by the Gates Mills Police Department
Crash in school parking lot: Gates Mills Police responded to a three-car crash in the parking lot of St. Francis of Assisi School.
The crash took place just after 8 a.m. Nobody was injured, but one of the drivers, a 50-year-old woman from Gates Mills, was cited for reckless operation on private property.
Four-car crash: Police received a report just before 4 p.m. on May 16 of a crash involving four cars on Mayfield Road.

This crash also had no injuries. Police cited a 40-year-old Rome resident for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
What's that sound?: A Dorchester Road resident called police at 10:02 p.m. on May 16, worried about a noise coming from her roof.

The noise was loud enough that the woman believed a person was walking on the roof. A responding officer determined that wasn't the case. Instead, he found a raccoon wandering on top of the home.
