Police Blotter: Woman's Car Trapped In Space By Close Parkers

A woman called police at 6:50 a.m. March 8 because she couldn't get into her car on Golden Gate Boulevard. She said cars were parked too closely on both sides. Police checked and said the cars were legally parked. However, an officer found one of the owners and he agreed to move his car.

A 911 caller at 1:23 a.m. March 9 said there was a lot of yelling and screaming going on at a Longwood Drive residence. She said she was having an argument with her sisters and mother. An officer told the relatives to stay away from each other.

A Summit Drive woman called police at 8:12 a.m. March 8 and said she filed a missing juvenile report with Twinsburg police. Her 17-year-old daughter was brought home a day earlier and now ran away again to Twinsburg to be with her boyfriend.

Several golf clubs were reported stolen at 4:43 p.m. March 8 at Golf Galaxy in Golden Gate Plaza. The two male suspects fled in a gold Ford Taurus.

A woman said at 12:24 p.m. March 8 that she had been overcharged by $40 the previous day at Friday's in Golden Gate Plaza. Police said the restaurant refunded the woman's money.

A woman who called at 4:28 p.m. March 7 said she was approached in a parking lot at Hillcrest Hospital by a 45-year-old man who asked if a pair of shoes on the ground belonged to her. She said nothing and drove away and he picked up the shoes and put them in his car. Police were unable to find the man.
