Police Blotter: Woman Being Harassed After Car Accident

A West Miner Road woman called police at 7:22 p.m. July 10 because she was being harassed by a girl following an accident on July 8. The girl yellow out her window and said something about a house fire.

A woman was arrested after she was caught stealing from Walmart at 10:53 p.m. July 10. Police said the woman will be charged with petty theft. She was had a warrant from Brooklyn, but she was released due to a medical condition.

The Cleveland Water Department called at 8:19 p.m. July 10 to notify the city that there was a water main break on Washington Boulevard and the road was starting to buckle.

A Temple Avenue woman called police at 11:09 p.m. July 9 and said it appeared that someone entered her house and changed the password on her computer. Police said that there were no signs of entry and that the woman's password was about 20 characters long.

A boxer dog was loose in the area of Mayfield Ridge Road at 8:47 p.m. July 9 and several people were trying to catch it. The animal was caught and placed back inside its house.

A woman called at 2:51 a.m. July 9 from a Mayfield Road gas station and yelled that she was being kidnapped. Officers didn't notice any suspicious activity in the lot and no one reported anything going on. Police said the car described by the woman matched one belonging to people who were kicked out of a doughnut shop earlier.

A baby deer was running into walls and couldn't find its way out of a garage at 6:31 p.m. July 8 on Iroquois Avenue. A neighbor chased the animal away.
