Police Blotter: Runaways Caught in Stolen Car

Three juveniles in a car cruising around Marsol Towers at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 8 refused to stop for an officer. Two of them bailed out when the car ran up on a lawn on Chelmsford Road. The driver was placed in custody at the scene and police caught the other two a few minutes later. The driver and a passenger were both runaways from Cleveland. The car had been reported stolen in Cleveland.
A Mayfair Boulevard woman called at 12:52 p.m. Feb. 11 because she heard a noise overnight. She didn't think much of it until she noticed footprints in the snow by a neighbor's house. She wanted police to pay extra attention to the area.
A South Euclid woman said she was arguing with her ex-boyfriend Feb. 10 on Maplewood Road and he took her cell phone, ring and a snow brush and was refusing to give them back. The items were handed over to the woman and no report was filed.
A man said he hit some ice while turning onto Stonecreek Drive and hit a sign. Police said the sign was on private property and belonged to a homeowners association.
