Police Blotter: Rude Shopper, Topless Walker and Questionable Sales Pitch

A man said his car door was damaged by a woman who parked next to him at 3:18 p.m. June 3 at Golden Gate Plaza. He said she ignored him and walked into Marshalls. An officer went to the scene and she ignored him and walked into Bath and Body Works, but he caught up with her and filed a report for damage to property.

A Belrose Road man called at 1:39 a.m. June 3 and said there was a tree removal truck and trees were being cut down on tree lawns. Police said the workers were from the Illuminating Company.

A Stonecreek Avenue resident said a male and female were walking down the street at 12:50 a.m. June 2 and it appeared that the female had her shirt off. Police checked and were unable to locate the suspects.

A Lyndhurst woman said at 10:56 a.m. June 1 that a tire was slashed on her car while she was at Panini's. A threatening note was left as well. However, she did not want to file a report but wanted police to be aware that the car would be left in the lot overnight.

An officer noticed a 15-year-old girl who appeared to be highly intoxicated walking at 8:37 p.m. June 1 on West Miner Road. Police called the girl's father, who took custody of her.

A Giesse Drive woman called police at 6:12 p.m. May 31 and said a man came to the front door and was talking to her son about people breaking into houses and cutting phone lines to security systems. She said he never mentioned who he was working for. Police said the man checked OK and was from 360 Security.
