Police Blotter: Road Rage Incident Spills Over to Police Station

Two men were arguing in the police station lobby at 9:15 a.m. April 11 about an accident that just took place. Police separated the men and learned the incident took place on Interstate 90 at Route 91, in Willoughby Hills. The Willoughby Hills Police Department was called and told to come to the station because the men were too unruly to drive to that city.

An officer was asked to check on an injured deer in a Derby Drive yard at 8:52 a.m. April 9. The animal didn't appear to be injured as badly as thought, the officer said. A resident called again and an animal warden was called to handle the deer.

Alliance police called at 6:52 a.m. April 9 about a missing 26-year-old woman who left to go to a mall the previous night and didn't return. Police were given two possible names of people the woman might be with in the area, but were unable to locate either person.

A raccoon chased children at 5:50 p.m. April 7 on Hickory Hill Drive. Officers trapped the raccoon and an animal warden was called to deal with it.

An Aintree Park Drive woman wanted help because her garage door wouldn't go up at 7:51 a.m. April 7. Police said about 48 FirstEnergy customers were without power in the area. The woman called back and said her garage door was making noise, but wasn't going up. She was told to call a garage door company.

A motorist said his car was hit by a rock at 3:27 p.m. April 5 while going under the Ridgebury Boulevard bridge on Interstate 271. He saw a group of kids on the bridge and one had his arm sticking through the fence.
