Police Blotter: Pushy Customer Shown the Door at Pharmacy

A disturbance was reported at 1:32 p.m. April 15 at CVS on Mayfield Road, where a woman pushed another customer out of the way while in line. The woman was told to leave the store and refused. She left the store before police arrived and headed north on Mayfield Ridge Road.

A woman called at 4:59 a.m. April 16 from and said she was being held against her will. An officer spoke with a nurse, who moved the phone out of the patient's reach.

A Ridgebury Boulevard woman wanted to file a police report at 10:21 p.m. April 15 because her boyfriend was filling the dog's water dish with Windex. She didn't want an officer to talk to the boyfriend, however, and was told that a report could not be filed unless contact was made.

A woman called at 3:30 p.m. April 15 and said a motorist almost hit her and her daughter at Golden Gate Plaza. She said the female driver cursed at them and made threats. Police said there was a verbal dispute and no threats were made.

Three boys were breaking bottles at 1:28 p.m. April 15 in a Fruitland Avenue lot. A woman yelled at them and they ran. They came back to the store and apologized to the owner.

The manager of Comfort Inn called at 1:36 a.m. April 15 and said there was a marijuana smell coming from a room. Management cleared out the room, where about 25 people were having a party. One of the guests was arrested for a warrant from Mayfield Heights police.
